Sweet Sixteen

Sophomore Amy Lasco celebrated her sixteenth birthday with a two-run homer over the right field fence to help Berkshire defeat Newbury, 8-0, on Wednesday. Angela Moss struck out 15 in her complete game shutout and the Badgers improved to 2-0 in league play.

Moss, Spangler too much for Huskies

Angela Moss allowed just one run and struck out 16 in Berkshire’s 4-1 win at Cardinal on Monday. Alysa Spangler homered to right field in the seventh inning to give the Badgers some insurance against their CVC rivals.

Moss picks up where she left off

Berkshire senior Angela Moss is the two-time reigning Chagrin Valley Conference Valley Division MVP. In Saturday’s 2012 season opener, Moss picked up where she left off last season by leading the Badgers to a 6-3 victory over visiting Brush.

After winning the Chagrin Valley Conference Valley Division title in 2011 for the seventh straight season, Berkshire’s softball team is eager to repeat yet again. With just one senior on the squad, the Badgers will be tested early and often on their quest for their eighth in a row Valley Division title.
