Badgers survive Gator attack
Laurel gave Berkshire’s girls’ basketball team a scare during the second half of the Badgers’ 43-42 victory in Wednesday’s regional semifinal game at Cuyahoga Falls. The Badgers overcame the Gators’ third quarter rally to pull out their first regional victory in school history.

Badgers win district crown
Berkshire’s girls’ basketball team got off to a fast start and never took its foot off the gas on Saturday during its 49-30 win over Rootstown to claim the Barberton Division III district championship. The Badgers won all facets of the game and used their size advantage to control the paint.

Byler doubles up; Badgers in district final
Kayla Byler’s double-double powered Berkshire’s girls past Waterloo, 42-37, on Thursday. The Badgers advanced to Saturday’s district final at Barberton, where they’ll play Rootstown for a chance to compete in the Cuyahoga Falls regional tournament.

Badgers celebrate another title
For the second night in a row a Berkshire basketball team cut down the nets. On Friday the boy’s team celebrated its third straight conference title and on Saturday it was the girls that celebrated their second straight championship after beating Cardinal, 61-26.
