Porter headed to districts

Berkshire freshman Becca Porter saved her best for when she needed it most. At Saturday’s Division II sectional meet she swam two lifetime bests in the 200 IM and 500 freestyle and earned a spot in this weekend’s district tournament at Cleveland State.

Porter places at small school meet

Freshman Becca Porter continues to shine in Berkshire’s first swimming season. She recently placed in several events at the Salem Small Schools Invitational. Porter finished first in her session in the 200-meter freestyle, third in the 500 and sixth in the 100-meter breaststroke.

Porter makes a splash

Berkshire's first ever swimmer made her debut last week at the 2011 Cloverleaf Invitational. Freshman Becca Porter placed in the top 10 of two different events.

Sophomore Cody Charvat won the Division III 126-pound sectional title, Berkshire's first since 2008.
